Frequently Asked Questions

Why should I hire a wedding/event coordinator?

To truly enjoy your wedding day. To invest in your friends, family & guests without worrying about the details yourself. To have a peace of mind that everything will run smoothly. Wedding coordinators, like Maria, are professionals who have experience and industry relationships that will allow the clients wedding/event vision to come to life.

How early should couples start to plan their wedding? Hire a wedding coordinator?

Anywhere from 9-12 months prior to the wedding date is a good time to start planning. You don’t want to wait until the last minute and feel overwhelmed, but you also don’t want to be planning for too long. We do recommend hiring your wedding coordinator right away, even for the ‘month of/day of’ package. You’ll want to get a contract signed to ensure the coordinator is available for your wedding date. We already have weddings booked for 22 months from now!

What type of packages do you offer?

For wedding clients, we offer 3 packages depending on what type of service the bride is looking for and how much assistance. We have our Silver Package, which is our ‘month of/day of’ package. We have our Gold Package, which is a mid-level package. And we have our Platinum Package, which is our full service package.

For Parties and Celebrations, we offer 4 packages that are based upon your guests count.

We can also customize packages to meet specific needs.

What to wear?

What to Wear🤵
What is the dress code for your event? Be specific, as terms like “creative black tie” aren’t always clear. Are there any colors your guests should avoid (hopefully white!)? If your wedding is outdoors or requires significant walking, consider your guests when deciding on your dress code.

Parking

Parking🅿️
Will there be a valet service, a parking lot, or a designated parking area? Should the allotted parking fill up, where can guests park?

Transportation

Transportation🚌
Will you be providing transportation? If not, you can recommend using a ride share service! If you have a promotional code for a particular ride share, include that information as well.

Photos & Social Media

Phones and Photos 📸
Do you have a hashtag for your wedding? Are you planning an unplugged ceremony or will guests be allowed to capture the moments on their phones? Here you can let them know.

Dancing & Eating

Will there be dancing/eating? Let your guests know if they need to bring their dancing shoes! Or their own sandwich *Just kidding

Location Matters

Indoors or Outdoors🌳
Is your wedding indoors, outdoors, or a mix of both?

RSVP Deadline

RSVP Deadline📆
We recommend listing this first since it’s the most time-sensitive! Also, let your guests know how to RSVP.

Plus One Rule

Plus ones can be a bit sticky if not everyone gets one, so be sure to make clear what your expectations are. Or direct your guests to their invitations for information about whether they have been allowed a date.

Adults Only Event?

Children or No Children Welcome?👶
Are you planning a kids-free wedding or are children welcome? Would you prefer only children over a certain age? If you have specific accommodations for children, like childcare, here is a good place to mention that as well!
